Week 3/7 - 3/10

This week we learned about the radiant heating that would be installed in the floor of the basement. We also made the shed ready to be hauled off.

Monday: Today we went to the job site to hear the plumbers talk about the radiant heating system that was being installed in the house. Radiant heating (shown below) works by heating water and then sending it through pipes in a concrete floor, the heat then radiates out of the slab into the house.

Tuesday: We worked on making the tool shed a permanent structure that could no longer be taken apart for transportation.

Wednesday: Finished making the tool shed a permanent building.

Thank you to the Plumber's and Pipe Fitter's Local 262 for their continued donation of labor and expertise. Also, thank you to both Behrend's Mechanical Inc. and Harri's Plumbing & Heating Inc. for supplying us with materials at a reduced cost.
